Marty is a fully programmable and customisable robot, designed to bring learning in the classroom to life. Promoting problem solving and creative thinking, Marty makes learning about robotics and coding fun and engaging.
Marty dances, walks, kicks, speaks and so much more to act as a revolutionary part of the modern classroom. Use coloured tiles, the Marty Controller, MartyBlocks JR and MartyBlocks to programme Marty to do a range of things and bring these into the classroom to teach programming to a wide variety of ages.
Marty comes in a carry case with: a starter guide, charging cable, 2 battery packs, a ping pong ball, a range of colourful tile cards for unplugged mode
Unique movements: Walking, dancing, turning, side stepping and kicking. Martys unique leg design makes a swagger like no other robot.
Interactive sensors: With an array of sensors including position, tilt, proximity & force, and a built-in speaker, Marty can talk and play sounds, feel, and even shake hands. Marty comes with IR obstacle sensor and color sensor as standard.
LED disco lights: Marty now comes with our most popular add-on, LED disco eyes, as standard. Program different colors as reactions or turn Martys eyes into disco balls to accompany your own Robo-boogie.
Coding for all abilities: Program Marty using MartyBlocks Jr (based on ScratchJr), MartyBlocks (based on Scratch), Python, and even up to professional level with a Raspberry Pi and the ROS (Robot Operating System).
Expandable & customisable: Marty likes learning new things. Add extra sensors (temperature, noise, light and more), a camera, a Raspberry Pi or micro:bit, or 3D print your own custom parts.
