Making A Purchase


Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept all major credit and debit card payments, except AMEX, via payment service provider.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order normally, and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. Your card company may charge a small fee for this service.


Shipping And Handling


We aim to dispatch your goods within 24 hours of receipt of any firm order. We always keep high levels of stock in our warehouse but occasionally, circumstances beyond our control may prevent some orders from being immediately dispatched. If we are unable to dispatch your goods within 3 days of receiving your order then we will contact you to advise you of the expected delivery date.

Carriage is free on orders over £250 ex VAT. Carriage will be charged to a maximum of £7.95 + VAT on orders of less than £250 ex VAT. Overseas, offshore UK, Highlands and BFPO deliveries may carry a carriage surcharge. We will confirm costs before dispatch.

Delivery Schedule

Please note that by clicking "Accept" to our terms and conditions, you agree to be bound by them and the details of them therein.

All UK orders are processed the same working day (Monday - Friday) and despatched by your choice of carrier. This may be Royal Mail First Class Post or courier. Courier deliveries are next working day and Royal Mail is 48 hour delivery. In the unlikely event that any problems with your order arise, we endeavour to give you a prompt and efficient service to minimise any delay to you.

We will dispatch your goods on the same day of recieving your order before 4pm. Any order recieved after 4pm London Time is dispatched on the next working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Items ordered on next-day courier on Friday will be delivered by DPD Saturday service.

We will dispatch bulky and high value orders on DPD courier service which may require a signature at the point of delivery. This change of service is at the discretion of the Warehouse Manager. Whilst we will always endeavour to inform you before upgrading your specified delivery service, we reserve the right to ship your order by courier at our discretion.

Back Orders


In the rare event that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges


VAT is calculated on your final order depending on your country.

All UK customers will be charged VAT.
All customers from outside the UK will not be charged UK VAT. You may be required to pay local taxes and or import duty upon reciept of your order. All such duties and taxes are payable by you, the customer and refusal to pay them may result in the shipment being abandoned or destroyed. In such an instance, no refund is due. We recommend checking any taxes and duties with your local authorities as these differ by country.

Credit Card Security


All of our credit and debit card payments are handled by a third-party Payment Service Provider. Your security is guaranteed and at no point will you be asked to enter any sensitive information on our own website. You will instead be forwarded to the payment pages on our Worldpay or Sellerpay server at the point of sale

Guarantee


All products purchased from us carry our 2 year guarantee. This is 12 months in addition to the usual 12 months offered by the manufacturers. Our guarantee is "no quibble". If we cannot repair a product to your satisfaction within 48 hours of receipt we will replace it with a brand new equivalent.

All products purchased from us carry our 2 year guarantee. This is 12 months in addition to the usual 12 months offered by the manufacturers. Our guarantee is "no quibble". If we cannot repair a product to your satisfaction within 48 hours of receipt we will replace it with a brand new equivalent. Our "no quibble" returns policy extends to new products. We want you to enjoy exactly the right product for your application. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, return it to us in as-new, resaleable condition within 14 days of purchase and we will give you a full refund. We will also refund your carriage costs if the return is the result of our error. We recommend using Recorded Delivery for all returns for your own protection. Please ensure that you enclose a brief letter stating your name and address and the reason for your return.

Oxford Educational Supplies Limited was formed in February 1989. The company has a total staff of 4, including the founder directors.

We had very rural beginnings having operated from a converted barn for 3 years. In 1992 the freehold to our present offices and warehouse was acquired and the company relocated to Weston on the Green, some 8 miles north of Oxford conveniently located for the M40 motorway and rail links.

The Company is a national and international distributor and has secured many contracts for the supply of calculators to educational institutions across the world.

In 18 years we have grown to become the leading distributor of calculators to education in the U.K. supplying some 500,000 units in the current year.

Our mission is to maintain and grow a company able to offer innovative and exciting products relevant to a discerning education marketplace and to identify and exploit new opportunities presented by technological developments and the changing needs of curriculums.

The Company will provide excellence in products and service, the "total quality" ethic running throughout the organisation, in order to satisfy the needs of its customers.

Remittance Terms


All UK Schools and Colleges hold an account with us. Any order placed from a School or College is due for payment within 30 days of the date of invoicing.

Making A Purchase
